Congratulations to Ali Behrangi, a member of EDO’s executive committee and the department of hydrology and atmospheric sciences, who has received a well deserved Distinguished Scholar Award from the University of Arizona. 

EDO’s Xiquan Dong and Baike Xi, in the department of hydrology and atmospheric sciences, were recently granted $3M from NASA as part of the NASA Earth Venture Continuity-1 (EVC-1) Libera award, an overall $150M, 10-year project led by the University of Colorado Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics.

Fifteen international climate and atmospheric data experts gathered on campus in January to share theoretical and experimental insights into the radiative interactions and climate feedbacks associated with cloud processes.
