What is EDO up to? Come learn about opportunities, including strategic research areas that are forming in order to pursue big-picture science and external funding, with support from EDO:

  • Aerosol-cloud-precipitation interaction
  • Atmosphere-ocean-sea ice interactions 
  • Cryosphere and climate
  • Mass change with respect to the terrestrial water cycle, sea level, geodesy, and measurement 
  • Dryland remote sensing
  • Advanced computational analyses in Earth science

We seek input and new research group participants--faculty, staff, and students are all invited.

Format

3:00:  Introduction and overview of EDO opportunities

3:15: Focus area presentations and Q&A/discussion

4:30: Reception (food provided!)

5:30: Adjourn to Gentle Ben’s for non-hosted, post-reception reception
