University of Arizona Space Institute Small Innovative Missions for Planetary Exploration (SIMPLEx)

When

11:20 a.m., Aug. 14, 2021

The University of Arizona Space Institute (UASI) is seeking principal investigators (PIs)
planning to propose to upcoming solicitations from sponsoring organizations (NASA,
NOAA, DOE, NSF, DOD, major Foundations and others). The UASI’s purview extends
only to proposals that are consistent with opportunities that either involve UArizona in a
PI role with a UArizona-associated life cycle funding of $5M or more upon award, or
involve UArizona as the supplier of mission hardware, software, or facilities with a
UArizona-associated life cycle funding of $5M or more. Proposals for the development
of instruments that would meet these requirements in subsequent proposals are
included.

PIs are encouraged to meet with the UASI program manager
(PM), Hop Bailey (hbailey@email.arizona.edu, 520 270-0532) to discuss your
concept.
