Betsy Woodhouse

Program Manager, Earth Dynamics Observatory

Betsy Woodhouse joined the Earth Dynamics Observatory in 2019 as the program manager. She oversees day-to-day operations; organizes program participants, activities, and goals; helps identify and connect new parters; seeks funding opportunities; manages the program budget; and develops and manages program communications. Prior to coming to EDO, she was the deputy director of the UA's Institute of the Environment, and prior to that position, she co-founded and published Southwest Hydrology, a trade magazine for water professionals in the Southwest. Betsy has bachelor's and master's degrees in geology and a PhD in hydrology and has worked as a hydrologist in both the public and private sectors.
